STARTS IN…
In honor of the 50th birthday of the Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley, we hosted a gathering entitled “50 for 50”, a private two-day conversation on preaching and leadership. We brought together, 50 preachers & ministry leaders committed to working in and growing the local Black Church. 50 for 50 is now “The Convening” and will become an annual event hosted in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Participants will have an opportunity to connect with other young leaders across the nation, as well as have Q&A time with Pastor Wesley and other special invited guests. This gathering seeks to impart into each of the participants the wisdom, creativity, and excellence that has been synonymous with Pastor Wesley’s ministry.
